listen to me and fly

Every apple has a story.
You are an apple. I`m listening to you.

Before coming in Mexico I bought a book that was going to teach me a lot about life.
I was waiting for the right moment to start, and it came (the moment). It was one day
when I forgot my PC charger at the university so I had no connection with the world.

"The Book of Life" is about meditation.
First lesson is about listening:

"Have you ever sat very silently, not with your attention fixed on anything, not making an
effort to concentrate, but with the mind very quiet, really still? Then you hear everything,
don’t you? You hear the far off noises as well as those that are nearer and those that are
very close by, the immediate sounds—which means really that you are listening to
everything. Your mind is not confined to one narrow little channel. If you can listen in
this way, listen with ease, without strain, you will find an extraordinary change taking
place within you, a change which comes without your volition, without your asking; and
in that change there is great beauty and depth of insight."

A few days ago I have learned to fly.
Alex, the teacher from the university (I have to write a special post about him later) as usual
prepared something interesting for his students. It was a bridge of wishes and advices. All the
students were staying in two lines, close to each other, and holding their hands. It was like a
bridge of hands that was throwing one by one each student and everybody had to wish something
 to the "flying" person.
Besides "drink tequila" and "smoke weed"  (that are also not bad wishes (joke):D ), there were a lot of
good things that are going to happen with me just because a bunch of amazing people made me
fly and  told me to be happy, and to explore, and to love, and enjoy...

I`m listening to you.

Despre alte chestii acum:

We have the things we think we deserve..

Mexico City and some more

As Dina said here, Mexico is about people.
Life is about them and here I don`t know yet why, but I feel everything is going to be how it should be..

Alex, a teacher from the university we work, said something that I already knew, but is like I needed a confirmation: Everything is happening for a reason and we meet people for a reason. Nobody, but nobody is a random person.

We`ve been in Mexico City - a place with a looot of people. Population of Moldova could fit there more than 5 times :D

But you know, this trip was also about the way and not just destination.
We had the opportunity to stay in a pick-up, in the back, in a improvised bed. It was the kind of adventure "we are going to keep for telling to our children and grandchildren".

We met good people and saw great places. We had breakfast with an amazing family, and I even had a  Spanish class with a 3 years old child (here my English is too bad to explain you how special he is).

While walking in Mexico City, we met a guy selling sweet cotton. Maybe it was a regular day for him, but he made mine to be special. He actually was selling colors and a little bit of happiness... His hair was purple and blue because of the colorful cotton, and sometimes he was letting it go up in the air, like sharing the colors with the whole city or even world.

Maybe all of you have a plan how to make strangers believe Mexico is the best place to live, but I feel like this is for real :D

Here everybody says: "Don`t worry". I`m not worried at all, because I`m in the right place, with people that every day teach me how to feel free, crazy and happy.

Qooh and  do you remember about the Serenada? It happened with me to see one in the university I work. It was amazing to see how everybody is involved to make somebody`s day special.

I have to tell you more about the people from this university. They are somehow special. Next time ;)

p.s. All our life is about waiting for something, but maybe is better to enjoy while waiting?

p.p.s. You know, I also enjoy traveling by car during the night...

The Serenade? It really exists here. You have to pay about 1000 pesos (1 American dollar = 13 pesos, or 1 Moldovan leu = almost 1 Mexican peso), and they will bring you in the place you want to sing her about your love.
A good Serenada should have about 10 songs, and it doesn`t matter if you can not sing. The mariachi guys are going to do everything for you.

Serenada happens in the night so you should make sure that your love is not sleeping. Ask some help if you need. (From the experience of a friend of mine.)

You also can ask you friends to help you with singing. So if anybody is planning to bring a Serenada, may I join please? I`m not a good singer, but I really really want to see this process live.

Here, somebody told me: ”You are going to see that we use lemon (known as lime) for any kind of meal”. And by everything he meant EVERYTHING you can eat or drink.

We`ve visited Mexico City. It was amazing. Soon more details and photos will come.
I`ll tell you about a person that lives in sweet colors and because of him I felt happy for a few minutes.

dor de vânt și-un demidulce...

Aproape în fiecare zi învăț că tot ce se întâmplă cu mine este ceea ce trebuie să fie.
Doar un singur lucru nu mi-l pot explica, probabil mai este nevoie de puțin timp.
Mi-e frică să recunosc că totul parcă are sens.

Nu pot înțelege dacă soarta ne trimite oamenii de la care trebuie să luăm ceva, sau pur și simplu orice persoană îți poate da o lecție despre viață și noi întâlnim oameni random?

p.s. Țânțarii mexicani mă omoară.
